We are happy to announce the release of the newest version of our top-rated DJ software, DEX 3.20.5. As always, DEX 3.20.5 is a free update for existing DEX 3 DJs.

More Accurate Sync and Snap-to-Beat Loops

We’re excited to introduce improved synchronization and snap-to-beat looping in PCDJ DEX 3.20.5. You’ll find this feature especially accurate when the beat-grid is set correctly . This new function will enable you to mix and blend your tracks seamlessly, ensuring your audience is never left out of rhythm.

Cue Point Enhancement

Our engineers have worked tirelessly to ensure your cue points are as precise as ever. Now, when you set a cue point while playing, the software will automatically snap it to the closest beat. This added precision will significantly improve your beat-matching skills, letting you create more dynamic and engaging mixes.

Improved Karaoke Singer Rotation

For our karaoke DJs, we’ve made a significant enhancement to the singer rotation feature. After the singer rotation is performed (the current singer is moved to the end of the list after 20 seconds of playback), we now always move the cursor back on the first item in the list (next singer). This tweak ensures smoother transitions and keeps your karaoke nights running smoothly.

AIUnmixEQ™ with “Kill Vocal” Feature

We’re proud to introduce our new AIUnmixEQ™ “Kill Vocal”, now available for the LYRX and LYRX12 skins. This advanced feature includes a “Kill Vocal” function, allowing you to seamlessly remove vocals from any track. Whether you’re looking to create an instrumental mix or simply want to provide a backing track for your karaoke stars, this feature will be invaluable.

Error Message Update

Lastly, we’ve made a change to our error message protocol. If errors occur after more than 85% of the track has played, we will no longer forward the UI error message for tracks. We’ll still generate silence for the remaining part of the track, ensuring minimal disruption to your performance.
